Matthew Weber is the Managing Principal of one of British Columbia’s oldest, and most established construction management and consulting companies. With his exceptional technical background in construction, management, development along with technical cost consulting expertise for residential (multifamily and single family), industrial and commercial properties and projects, Matthew is a sought after expert by major financial institutions to provide technical and strategic advice for third party real estate development projects that require enhanced stakeholder oversight. Matt has personally been involved with over 47 projects comprising concrete condominium mid/high-rise developments, steel framed condominium developments, wood framed hotel development, wood framed condominium developments and multi-phase wood framed townhouse developments built on a management basis incorporating project management principles with construction values in excess of $500 million.
To complement his significant real estate construction and development experience, Matt holds advanced industry qualifications, including a Diploma of Architectural and Building Engineering Technology (with Honours), a Diploma in Civil and Structural Engineering (with Honours) from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. He also holds the Professional Quantity Surveyor (PQS) designation and was appointed a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors, where he served as a national director of the Institute for 6 years, with successively senior board roles culminating in serving as the national Chair for that organization.
Outside of his professional interests, Matthew is a rock and roll musician, enjoys the great outdoors with his family as well as travelling internationally to sunny destinations.
