Helping to create peace of mind for clients who want to enjoy, preserve and enhance their wealth has been the cornerstone of David’s 45 year career in the financial services industry. David brings a wealth of knowledge and life experiences, especially in the area of philanthropy for our clients and their advisors. By taking a client-centric, values-based planning approach, David is able to provide tax effective recommendations leading to a successful outcome that will be consistent to the clients’ goals and objectives.
Throughout his career, David has been active in the insurance industry, volunteering with associations like Advocis and CALU (Conference for Advanced Life Underwriting), of which he was a founding member. He was also involved with a number of external associations over the years, such as CAGP (Canadian Association of Gift Planners) and STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Professionals), and was a founding director of the Okanagan chapter of CAFÉ (Canadian Association of Family Enterprise).
From a personal perspective, David and his wife Nancy have two daughters and five grandchildren. He has tried to maintain an active lifestyle golfing, skiing and running and enjoys travelling, cooking and reading in his leisure time.
