Steve brings extensive international C-suite experience in the consumer products industry to Promerita. He is President of JMJ Global Advisors Ltd., a management consulting company specializing in driving operational excellence, growth strategies, business turnarounds and developing exceptional executive management teams.

Steve brings over thirty years of senior management experience working with privately held companies with a track record of exceptional revenue and EBITDA growth, building strong customer relationships and manufacturing and global supply chain solutions.

Formerly, Steve was Chairman & CEO of Wilton Industries where he grew revenue from US$168 million to over US$700 million during his tenure before selling the company to private equity.  Steve has spent his entire career working in both Canada and the USA focusing on housewares and home décor industries. A dual citizen (Canada/USA) Steve has been navigating sales and marketing strategies throughout Retail North America and International markets including South America, Europe and Asia Pacific.

Currently, Steve serves on numerous housewares and home décor boards in both Canada and the USA and is an equity owner of Solemn Oath Brewery.  Previously, Steve served on the Board of the Cookware Manufacturers Association having served as its President. He was also on the International Housewares Association Board and served his full 6-year term ending in 2015, and on the Board of the Canadian Hardware Housewares Manufacturers Association and Chairman of the Housewares Committee.

Steve holds a BA from the Faculty of Science, University of Western Ontario. He and his wife, Karen, live in Chicago, Illinois and have three grown children and five grandchildren.  Outside of his business interests, Steve enjoys an active lifestyle jogging, hiking, kayaking and is an avid reader.
